Bueller (Rescued)
Bueller was deemed "mean" and
"unadaptable" at a local shelter and
was to be put down. Can you blame
the boy for not liking his cage at the
shelter? Bueller doesn't have a mean
bone in his body and has been a joy to
own. He can often be found in his blue
swimming pool playing with the bubbles
he creates by slapping his feet in the
water. Try it! It makes for hours of fun!
Vinnie (Rescued)
Little Vinnie was found as a stray
but obviously well cared for. Signs
were hung and numerous
attempts were made to locate his
owners who should have been just
sick looking for him. They were
never located. This little dog is an
absolute riot! A running water
hose is his arch enemy and he will
attack (the hose) until it finally
surrenders (or we turn the water
off)
Belle (Rescued)
Belle came to us very malnourished and
neglected but with a strong will to
survive. She is happy and healthy now.
While she can be a little like a bull in a
china shop when she's excited, she
loves to hang with her
people...especially if she can sit on the
couch!
AVAILABLE!!
Belle is available to an
approved, one or two dog
home.
Ben (Rescued)
Ben is a 100+ pound great
dane/mastiff cross with a personality
as big as his heart. We believe Ben
was dumped by an owner who could
no longer afford to care for him. He
wants to very much be a part of
someones family. He loves to hang
out in the house and watch TV but will
not turn down the opportunity to go
outside and play. He is a bit arrogant
in that he thinks people should sit on
the floor and HE should get the whole
couch! He would be a great dog for an
active family. Do you have room in
your heart for this gentle giant?
AVAILABLE!! (adoption
pending)
Scout (Rescued)
Scout is a beautiful yellow lab who was
turned over by her owner who could no
longer care for her. She never turns
down the opportunity to take a swim,
any body of water will do. Scout is a
very active dog that needs lots of room
to run but at the end of the day she
very much wants to snuggle up with
her people and be a part of the family.
She is very well behaved in doors and
would love to be your loving
companion.
Henry (Rescued)
Henry is a precious
pit bull terrior with a
heart of gold and a
bit of a weight
problem. He was
dumped in the
country by an
uncaring sole and
left to fend for
himself. This sweet
natured boy will
remain at Koko
Knoll the remainder
of his days.
Pheobee (Rescued)
Precious Pheobee was rescued from a
puppy mill. Because she has a pink
nose (an undesireable trait in pure
breed australian shepards, she was
deemed usless and thrown in a pen
where she had little to no human
interaction. It is also suspected that
she was abused in someway as she is
terrified of men. Phoebee will remain
at Koko Knoll and be cared for and
loved by Wendi. It took a great deal of
time for her to adjust to her move and
she has developed a strong bond with
Wendi. She is fearful of strangers and
would not adjust to another move well.
Pictures coming soon!
Reno: Rottie/pit cross tied to a sign
and left on a busy Oklahoma City
Street. Reno is a sweet boy with only
one problem...he is very excitable! He
will be available to an approved home
and will thrive in an environment where
he is the center of attention.
AVAILABLE!!
Cash (Rescued)
Cash is a 12 week old rottie puppy that
was found being beat by a homeless
man in down town Oklahoma City. He
was purchased from the homeless man
for $40!
